You're paying more for liability only than I am for full coverage (100k/300k/100k) on my 02.

Doesn't sound that low to me, all things considered.
How young are you might i ask

Where I live $100/month is a steal. I'm 25 and I pay that for my 04 350z, which I have registered in FL. NY wants close to $4,000/yr for my Z and my S together. Craziness. I've got a clean record, no accidents incidents or violations. Go figure.

2 cars. 2 drivers. 2 records under my drivers licence..
08 element auto AWD and 03 s2k(about to be added) $95 a month. through state farm

full coverage, 100/300/100, road side, etc..

but I do have home owners with them so i get ~25% discount plus. in 2 months I hit 30.. so agent said it'll be another 15% deduction.. woot!

so if your paying cash and you made enough CASH to buy the s2 than you can go ahead and get the min ( but that does sound low ). But if you mean you make enough now to afford the payments, then you better start shopping around for full coverage. Banks wont allow you to have a lien on the vehicle w/o full coverage.

man i live in NYC and it's tough. but i will tell you this though, insurance companies look at how long you've had your license. when i got my car at 20, i got my license at 16. my rate was high but still not that bad cause i had my license for 4 yrs. when i turned 21, they had a 5 year good driving record and i got more money off.

you paying 200 a month is actually pretty good for your age. but i'm sure that will go up if you add full coverage which i definately would have since the seats get stolen and stuff. try geico, they're pretty lenient but i wouldnt do full insure with them cause i heard bad stories...
