Default Insurance rates

Just curious what your insurance costs, especially the males under 25.
Also please post where you are from, I live in Fort Worth and I have found a lot of difference where you live.

Mine is ~250 every 6mo. I have it set p though as a pleasure car and only keep comprehensive coverage while it is garaged and it costs 5.53 per month. When I add coverage for the day I use it I call in and the cost is approx 1.35 per day. This is better than keeping coverage all the time while it is simply parked. BUT even without garaging it this car costs just $20 more per 6mo than my civic and cr-v. I use state farm, have multi car discount, 23, married <--(big break here), and state farm carries my home owners insurance (multi-line discount).

I was quoted for $970/6mo. I'm 22, good record. 100/300/50 coverage mandated by my lease.

Now I'm convinced that the city you live in has the most impact on rates.
