You don't get any great gains short of Nitrous, Supercharging or turbocharging. Simple breather mods will probably on get you a 5-10 hp increase if you are lucky. Maybe a little more with those mods and a VAFC but not much. Do what I do I'm adding these mods not for power but for a sportier sound and better looks so I don't feel so bad.

 

Exhaust mods typically don't offer much power gain, they are for looks and sound.

Intake mods add horsepower, but not enough to knock your socks off. I would estimate the gain at about 5-10 hp to the wheels if you're lucky. Adding an aftermarket intake will aid more with general performance, throttle response, and make the V-tech roar sound really cool under the hood.

Brand choice is up the buyer. Everyone will say something different. I suggest doing a search and looking through the library here, check out pictures and comments and decide for yourself.

 

There was a spugen exhaust dyno tested and there was a gain of about 6 hp. Look at about a total of 10-15 hp with exhaust and intake. Not quite sure about what headers will do for you.
