I'd also be interested in a Ti knob (along with some other items from your site that I'd like to order at the same time). Please let us know the status of this Ti knob when you get a chance. Thanks!

damnit.. I was one of the ppl. that was looking for a voodoo ti knob in that time frame and b/c of the unavailablity i went for the ARC ti knob. Jus out of curiousity, how does this one compare to the ARC (weight/size/etc.)? I really had my heart set on a voodoo one but now i'm stuck . maybe i can find someone to buy mine
I had the ARC knob before and IMO, the voodoo knob is way better. It's much heavier and larger in diameter. I personally though the ARC knob was way too small.

Has anyone heard from Rick about this since the initial buzz? I'm still really interested in getting one of these, engraved if possible, and the money's burninating a hole in my pocket...

I have a magnum Ti Voodoo that I had powder coated gloss black (no engraving). It's perfect IMO. The aluminum Voodoo I had previously was just too light and felt clinky when shifting. The extra heft of the Ti knob gives the shifter a more substantial, solid feel, and it definitely helps to smooth out the roughness of the multiple cone synchros when they're cold.

Is it a sh*tload to spend on a friggin' shift knob? Yes it is. But because it makes a noteable difference and is one of the prime interfaces between the car and driver, I'd never regret spending the money on it though. It just makes an already great driving experience even sweeter.

I got an e-mail from Rick on 1/18 reiterating that they no longer sell the Ti due to material costs, so I ordered the pearl. If it became available again, I'd still like to have one.
That's a bit confusing - why would he say they were available @ $160 if we got 20 people interested and then only 10 days later "reiterate" that they were unavailable. Seems like we have close to/at least 20 people here so far.

Maybe Rick can chime in on this thread to clear things up?

I'm very confused... ...and still interested.
