My thought on a shift pattern is if you take it to get tires put on, the front end aligned or other service, the service flunky may not know the shift pattern.
Speaking of shift pattern -- after a couple week delay (Mr Hesel has been out of town, apparently), I just received a pearl aluminum voodoo knob from Rick with the shift pattern engraved on it. Feels great, but doesn't look so sharp. How does one align the engraving?

The instructions are on Rick's site. Just use a few drops of blue Loctite and thread the knob down as far as possible with the pattern to your liking. Let it dry for a few hours and you're good. Just make sure to get the blue and not the red. This way you'll be able to remove the knob at some point.

Ahh, thanks for the tip.

I was about to head out to the hardware store for a coupla washers...

*EDIT* -- I didn't find the info on Rick's site, exactly, but a couple of clicks later at "the knobmeister's," who appears to be Team Voodoo's preferred engraver. Another option, according to the knobmeister, is stuffing an eraser from a #2 pencil in the knob. Sounds just crazy enough to work.

Either way, thanks again.

Looks like we have enough interest to get the group buy under way. We'll get it posted on our web site by week's end.

Remember, you have to place an order and your card will be charged the full amount. If we don't reach 20 orders within 3 weeks, the GB will be canceled and full refunds issued to everyone who placed an order.

I'll post here again when the GB is up on our web site.

The Ti can NOW be ordered on our web site. It is an option on the same page as all of the other knobs.

Thanks

You can now place orders on our site. The ti knobs are in the drop-down box. Shift pattern and custom enraving are also an option.

Here's a link: http://www.ricks2k.com/products/shiftknob.php

I'll report back on this thread about progress toward the miniumum GB goal as orders come in.

Paid and paid! Should I just email the custom image to you along with my order #?

Now we just have to wait on the eagerly anticipated AP2 clear diffusers.
