You know, I'm beginning to wonder if they should have shared this information with the children, and told them that they must make the decision whether or not its safe to tell their parents.

Ted , I'm beginning to wonder if this was a good idea to tell everyone, you know all these S owners are going to go try it now. Better get a lawyer if they manage to get out, lol

This thread is hilarious. Everytime I go to play either softball or tennis, I have to switch out the bags because it's a hassle to fit both of them into the trunk at the same time. And now I'm imagining S2000 owners trying climb into the trunk to test this release.... I don't even think my 5-yr-old would try to squeeze in to that trunk!

You should have taken out the spare first.

I dunno... rworne has been quiet for an awfully long time now... Maybe that little trunk release latch DOESN'T glow!

Show your children about it. If you simply tell them and leave it at that, then you'll most likely have some problems.
If you're there when they do it, then they have had the experience, and will be so freaked out by being locked in the trunk that they won't want to go back in (but they know first hand how to get out).

I need to disable it so they CAN'T get out. I hate how car manufacturers are dictating my discipline tactics now...
