Yes, Interesting thread. When I was looking for my roadster I asked my son for some candidates; since he loves cars and hangs out with other kids/young men who love cars. If I hadn't had in house advice I might have gone to sports car.com to get opinions too.
It makes sense to get general opinions first and then narrow the field.

Then we had a blast test driving cars. Obviously the S2000 was the winner for me

OK I'll bite.

That thread is not even remotely interesting. It is full of stupid comments about cars that the people posting have very little idea of.
Threads like that can be seen on almost any other forum anywhere.
If I want some useful information I'll stick to this forum.

Hmm maybe I worded that too strongly - oh well.

bunch of people who have most likely never driven the car, and all they know about it is what they heard from a friend of a friend's mother's ex-boyfriend's housekeeper's stepson who drove one in a parking lot once.

Cool

you guys should check out page 8 of that thread...
Hilarious...
a guy named "Joeking1978" starts owning one of the "monkeys typing"
he seems to be the regional director for the S2000 International club?
very precise and to the point..

[QUOTE]OMG!! lol...

First off- if you want legitimate experience with the vehicle... go to www.s2ki.com and/or www.s2kca.com and get opinions from people who've actually owned or driven the car... not a bunch of arm-chair critics...
