What do I think?

The dude wants to put the 330i engine in the S2000. He thinks the Miata is the best mass produced roadster and finds the F20C gutless. A magazine racer quotes C&D's brilliant 11 second test.

I have no clue how anyone can compare the Miata to the S2000 in any performance category. Shouldn't they be messing around instead with those MR-2 Spyders? What dude wants to be seen in a Miata parked or on a roll?

Harbir is ****ing retarded. Invite him over and let's think this through.

Well it sounds like most of them haven't driven an S2K so they don't really know how the car feels. Also they seem to have a problem with how well the S2K is good all around such as city driving and road racing. Then somebody metioned about the Z3 roadster with the 3.0L engine. But it is my understanding that the 2000 still has more hp. Also BMW are not really my cup of tea. We had an M Roadster at work yesterday and the Shift knob poped off when the valet was shifting into nuetral. Then the wires for the shifter broke and now the car needs a new shifter and new wires. THe owner was like WTF. Then everyone there me the valet the owner and the doorman looked at the shifter and couldn't figure out how to put the piece of shit back on to stay connected with the shifter. Sorry about the rant.

Well back to the topic I think that they should go and test out the S2K and then drive their car and make their own conclusions from it.

I think some noses are a bit bent out of shape because the S2000 has stomped on the Miata's supremacy for most fun to drive roadster.

How wonderful it must be for these people to be able to make such detailed evaluations of the S2K having never driven one. How is that possible?

I love the part where the guy who drives a 2350lb car with 142hp sys that 240hp is not enough for a 2800 lb car (never mind that my car weighs less than that with me in it) and that our car should have been 800lbs (!) lighter... What a maroon! Oh well, they can justify their purchases until the cows come home - I can't hear their bitching over my VTEC howl!

On the whole many posters were very complimentary of the S2000 and described it very well. There aren't alot of MBs where people are so compimentary about another car.

Agreed. I think the folks on that board are being very fair. More fair, I think, than we are from time to time when similar threads are posted.
