Default Introduction...

Hey all,
I just registered to the board. Don't have my S yet.

But just registering here will make it harder for me to avoid picking one up...lol

Anyways, a little history. I've liked Honda's since I saw my first CRX and loved the S since the SSM concept came out. But, I got sucked into the 'dark' side and am currently putting around in a WRX wagon.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great car for what I need to for. But the S and the WRX are completely different animals. What got me back into wanting an S was a buddy recently traded in his WRX for one, which got me thinking about one....suddenly I was at a dealership driving one. But I need the practicality of the wagon now, so the dream has been put on hold.

My plan is a pick up a gently used 2004 Suzuka Blue S in 3-4 years. At that point, the WRX will be paid off and I'll have a better financial leg to stand on.

Until then, I plan to leach as much info off you guys are I can.

thanks
mike

I fully realize that I'm putting myself in harms way by visiting and posting here. However, I'm very focused on getting a number of things paid off. So the temptation is not as great as my desire to live with less debt on my back. Granted the mortgage is something I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life. But other things can be taken care of.

Just so you know I'm no stranger to Honda's. In fact, I was even employed at Honda R&D in Marysville, Ohio for a period of time. Here's a list of Honda's I've had the priviedge of owning over the years (in the order I owned/own):

1986 Accord LX
1990 Civic Si (before they were all the rage)
1992 Integra GS-R (later equipped with a B18C5 mill and LOTS of other goodies)
1987 Civic Si (I saved this one from a negligent owner. It was gonna be a project car, sold it instead)
1991 Prelude Si (my only current Honda)
Coming soon: 2004 S2000
