Check out this link supplied from spoonsports2k (member), it sold me on the exhaust while I was looking for one and bought via member on here.

My car sounds angry and is on crack. I like that. It can be very loud as my fiancee wears plugs when in the car. I have also heard about the HKS losing power, if that is the case, is it worth it for the sound? a few hp loss at most. Spending hundreds less for the Invidia over the HKS? I would do it everyday over and over.

For who made the post that the invidia sound like every other ricer? my exhaust doesn't sound like it's making popcorn! It tells me it wants to eat a V8.

I've had my V3 Invidia for 3 months now and I hated it at first. It does grow on you and it is loud, but that's why they include silencers with every exhaust.

IMHO any exhaust that causes you to lose power is bad, even if it sounds good. Sacrificing power for looks is for the flashy show cars, not the real sports cars like the S2000. If you want less power and more flash get the Lambo door mod too.

just my $0.02

I have had my V3 Invidia for a month now. The sound at WOT is intoxicating, but it takes a little while to get used to the sound when shifting/driving below 5K. The flanges used to attatch the mufflers to the Y-pipe are somewhat annoying to install, but for the price you pay....the Invidia is good as it gets.

I love the sound of the HKS....but the loss of power situation was what steered me to the Invidia.

I'm happy with my Invidia, it's loud to start but after 4 months of carbon builup it quiets down. I've been running it for over a year now.

One of my buddies had it for a few months and it cracked in the same place and fell off while he was riding. Mines is still holding up for now and I have to say it sounds great. Definitely not a typical "Honda" sound.

I have V2 and I love it. I imagine they are the same as far as sound goes. It does drone a bit once you get it but after about 1K miles it starts to fade. I've had mine for a year and love the sound now.

I have a V2 and love it, looks very nice, sounds great, adds HP, and very affordable, but very loud. I'm not going to defend it and be accused of justifying my purchase.

Best for you to do is listen to it in person, still and moving.

very interesting topic...

I find it hard to believe that HKS's exhaust system decreases HP....

Does anybody have any proof of this?
