I put the quality of the Invidia right up there with any other exhaust out there. The welds are precise
I think this person would disagree:

Gotta disagree with you here. If you look at that pic you can see where the exhaust made impact with the road at some point. The scratches are pretty evident. Probably a speed bump. This is a problem with S's, especially ones that are lowered, I dont care what kind of exhaust you have, nothing will stand up to that. I know of two other guys that had this problem and both were due to impact. Cant blame Invidia for that.

I wouldnt really say that its loud....although it does tend to drone around 3000 rpms. I like the sound of it overall and the quality from what ive seen and put it through is great for the money. I have made a few extremely hard contacts bottoming it out on speedbumps and harsh dips in the road and have no cracks/leaks. So it gets a thumbs up from me. I have the V2 which has the single piece rear section which fir fine by the way.

The standard honda ricer sounds like a dying duck with some buzzy, tinny, rattling noises. Unless you've heard it in person, it sounds far from that.

Although I do like the HKS sound. Its nice but the talk of it loosing horsepower (when the invidia is dyno proven by ME as well as others to gain hp) was not worth it for me. Just my opinion on the subject.

FWIW, singles are ugly and most don't flow with this car as they stick out sideways and what not. Plus one side of the bumper still having an opening looks ricy AFAIK.

I dont like having the fart can sound coming from m exhaust if thats what you mean by sounding like every other honda. I will have to listen to all of these exhausts in person.

that is the exact sound I am talking about.

I have heard the exhaust in person on a supercharged S, one with a test pipe and one w/ a TP. IMO it sounds like a fart can and I don't like it.

And about the HKS losing power, I have not seen a dyno proven that it does or dosn't but if I was really worried about gaining power from exhaust then I would have gone with a titanium header back single outlet. I have not felt any noticable differences in my car since I have put on the HKS but when I raced my friends bone stock S with me having only my exhaust I was not slower we sat right next to each with me barely pulling untill about 100mph when we let out. And I couldn't do that before I put it on so it must have done a lil something.
