Default Invidia exhaust owners come on in

I just put the exhaust on yesterday and am iffy if I want to keep it on. It is a bit louder than I expected it would be, I can keep it semi-quiet if I stay a little above or below 3000 rpms. The sound above 5000 is amazing, though. Did it take you guys a while to adjust to the noise or does it still seem loud to you?

No it was too loud for my ears with the silencers in and after a couple months I replaced it with an RS*R which was much better, now I run stock again because it's fine for me.

No, I didn't get the silencers with it. I bought it used without silencers for a pretty good price. I was going to stay stock but I felt guilty passing up the deal. I'm going to leave it on for another week or so and see how I feel then.

We have had the Invidia on since it was first offered and dont think its that loud. We have never used the silencers and probably never will. Just give it time you will get used to it.

Enter some tunnels with the top down and hit the sweet spot in the rev band.
It's pretty intoxicating.

It is loud when you first install it,bit boomy between 3-4500 revs(especially if you are engine braking)But i dont know if it is just me it seems to have quietened down a lot in about 200 miles of driving.Im wondering if the ecu has to adjust itself due to a different back pressure/better exhaust flow charecteristic?Or am I getting progresively deafer (silencers not installed)
