Iridium Plug Gaps.
Please be aware the spec listed in the Denso book for S2000 Iridium plug gap is larger than the gap coming out of box. The bottom of each page of the application book also states to check the manufacturer's gap recommendation. Our manual states 1.0-1.1mm. Denso's book states 0.044".

I found Denso's recommendation for the plug gap from their shop type application book one would find at an autoparts store to look up plug number, gap, etc. for any car. Picked it up at the SEMA in Long Beach. The book recommends 0.044" for the S2000 along with the IK22 etc, but at the bottom of every page of gap specs, etc., it says to check with oem manuals' recommendations as well.
I noticed that today and regapped the plugs to 1.03mm. The idle is still even, but it seems "smoother", like not feeling each firing, not as "sawtoothed" in vibration, as best I can describe it.
