It's hailing outside!!!
And I'm stuck here at work!!!! My car is sitting outside I don't know why I drove it to work today They weren't calling for anything severe, and this popped up! I pray we don't get the golf ball sized hail there were saying was possible, I really don't want my car all dented up!!!! I really want to start cussing right now, but this is a government facility..................

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. Out of nowhere it started to Hail and i was several miles away from my garage and driving would have just made it worse.
Long story short I went out and everything was fine.. and we had very large hail.. about the size of a quarter.
I attribute it to the 7 coats of Zaino.. even though I can't prove it.

I completely lucked out!!!!! Nothing large enough to cause damage to my car, but there were reports of up to 2" hail as close as 3 miles away! I live in an apartment, and made sure I had a garage just because of this......but the garage doesn't help when the car's not in it!

I was on the way home about a week ago as a big thunderstorm was just cranking up. I heard what sounded like a BB ricocheting off of my rear window. That got my attention, so I starting watching my hood to see if anything was bouncing off of it.
Sure enough, I saw a small hail stone hit and rebound. I think reflexes kicked in - fortunately I was parallel with a BP gas station. I made the smoothest 90 degree turn that I've ever executed and got under the cover over the gas pumps and rode the rest of the storm out.
That you, BP!
