I still have never seen any "evidence" that they're Recaros except for car mags talking about it.

Has anyone seen official Honda anything talking about it?
No but it wouldn't surprise me, Recaro, like many other companies that sell parts in the aftermarket, make OEM parts for many companies.

Solution:

#1 Next time he asks you to drive the car, say no... and if he asks why... reply with... what's the big deal... it's just a Honda.

#2 Next time he hangs his leg out the car, reach over and punch him on the knee cap. That should do it.

"Its just a Honda" is such BS. What other car does Honda make thats ANYTHING like the S2000? Its more expensive than their other cars, its sportier than their other cars, etc.

I guess by the same token, we could just say "Its just a Toyota" for a Supra TT or "Its just a Nissan" for a Skyline. . .

These are flagship cars for these companies that don't really totally fit with 99% of the other cars the company makes.

Though at the same time, our cars are not $100k+ Italian super cars either and I don't think we should treat them like they're something REALLY special. S2000's are a great, fairly affordable, fun car to drive. Definately not just another Honda though.
