Is its normal? 2003 S2k No door tweeter

Hello guys,

I want to know if it is normal that my 2003 all oem S2000, US car, didnt come with oem tweeter in door, and no storage area in the door panel too...

not to my knowledge, someone swapped in new door cards at some point in the past.

Yes for sure, just took time to remove the 2 panel, and clearly someone have been there in the past. The tweeter wiring is there with stock connector..

I will replace them with the correct panel.

I think that the ‘03 model year has the rounder tweeter ports and a “business card” size net pocket. My 01 door cards had no tweeter ports, so I swapped them out for some ‘02 or ‘03 door cards that did have tweeter ports. The tweeter port changed shape with the AP2 revision.

Is it possible a prior owner installed a single speaker in the doors with the midrange/woofer and a tweeter combined? There are speakers set up that way.

It's also possible that the car is a 2000 or 2001...far reach, but still possible.

Hello,

like i said on the last post, I removed the existing door panel and discover that the oem wiring and connector was there. I just bought at good price a set of mint ap2 05 door panel and tweeter kit. Everything work as it should be and nicer than 03 oem.
