On the road, people seem to hear the S before they see it - maybe that's why I get few (if any) stop light questions (alot of looks thought).

But my parking lot converstaion is almost exactly the same - the only changes might be 0-60 or 1/4 mile times.

The last time I was at a do-it-yourself car wash (low pressure of course) I pulled into an area where I could dry off. I was behind a car with 2 guys & a woman I think somewhere in her 40's (I'm not good with age). She asked me all kinds of questions about the car & I noticed she couln't keep her hands off the top. Just lightly touching (caressing?) it while she spoke.

Didn't know the top had that much power.

 

I cant wait till I see someone with a new Bentley. I am going to ask them how they like their VW?

My comments are usually similar to many posted here. Depending on who's making the comment, my favorite response is to inform them of the 9k redline, 4-cyl 240 HP (that usually gets a ) and then drop the bomb of "all for around $30k."

I the reactions this car gets.
