I kind of hate to make this suggestion, but it seems necessary.
I believe we need some sort of buyer/seller feedback scoring system, similar to the one on eBay. Having both bought and sold things to members of this forum--without the smallest problem, BTW--it seems to me that instituting such a measure will only help the vast majority here.
