The easiest way to lift a S2000 is with 2 jacks. Lift the side high enough to get to the center.

Or if you only have one jack and need to side jack.....lift one of the rear jack points high enough to get a jackstand under the FRONT lift point. Set it down on that jackstand and then you have access to the middle point.

I developed all these crazy methods before, in order lift this stupid car. Now I just use ramps. I got them for free from Evasive with my wheels lol. I use the eff out of those ramps thusly.

Too low for a jack.

Try these (patent pending) ramps.

I have the Omega low profile jack.

It was the second thing I bought for my S after the Factory Shop manuals.

This jack reaches both center jacking points without any additional lifting or ramps.

Just roll it under and lift.

A word of caution. This jack is HEAVY at 121 lbs. It is also long. The body of the jack is 43 inches and the handle is right around 5 feet. So storage could be an issue for some.

It works on most lowered cars as well. I starts off at 2.5 inches at the lifting pad

I've always wondered about these side jack and stand points on modern cars. I remember damaging the sheet metal once on a car I had with similar crimped sheet metal side jack points. I don't want to do that to my s2k. What do you all recommend for jack stands and what sort of pad on top of jack stand/jack to avoid doing damage to the side jack points.

I have the harbor freight low profile/long reach 2 ton jack. It's been pretty good but I did have to replace a couple seals on it. It also will not reach the front center jack pointof a lowered s2000. That Omega looks pretty nice but it is about double the price.

Honda's lift points are MUCH more robust than other cars. You won't fold them over.

I ended up going with the Harbor Freight low profile long reach jack. 2 ton Low Profile/Long Reach Steel Heavy Duty Floor Jack with Rapid Pump®.
It works great. It will reach the center jack points without using any ramps or side jacking on my ap1 with no front bumper lip. Works great. It is heavy so not the best for traveling. But, it wheels around on the cement floor of my garage with ease. It is very stable and seems well made to me.
