You can actually jack the car from any point on the side rails, although the cheaper jacks with metal "ashtray" lift surfaces can scrape or crease the rails a bit.

Ralper is the man. My ramps look identical to yours (except 1 1/2" more narrow.)

I change my oil completely from the top... using standard tools, and oil drain pan.. it's NOT necessary to lift the S2000 to gain access to the oil pan drain plug and same goes with the filter.. (if the old filter wasn't put on with 2000 ft lbs of torque)..

The drain pan I purchased wont fit underneith the car. Also, if you don't lift it, how the heck would you get the drainplug out?

ksalik, I used Rhino ramps on my Miata, but when I used them on the S2000, those splash guards, or whatever you call em, in front of the wheels scraped the ramp. Wonder if others had a similar encounter.

I really like Ralper's ramps.

I got the fumotovalve from Rick, so I will only have to jack her up once to change from the oil drain plug to the valve. Hopefully, from then on, just drive her onto Ralper's ramps!
