Default J's Engine Torque Damper

is it true that the J's Engine Torque Damper isn't durable?? i find it hard to believe seeing as how J's Racing is a pretty high-end manufacturer of parts. i'm thinking about buying the J's STB/ETD combo because i've read great reviews of it.

TIA

durable? its durable, there are no real parts of it that could break down so to speak.

pm me if you want a great deal on a j's ETD that i'm no longer using because of my supercharger.

Why do people want these things in the first place

I dont think our engines make enough torque to really justify it.

i've heard from more than one user that it makes the shifting/handling a lot smoother and crisper

Hmmm, guess I'd have to drive them side by side. I wouldn't think that it would make much difference, but maybe I'll have to give it a shot.

Makes a noticeable difference. At least I felt it. Shifting is smoother, the engine doesn't kick when you turn it on, and changes in high speed driving are also there. I am guessing what happens is the body is dissipating and absorbing some of the vibrations caused by our mild motor mounts.

If HASPORT made mounts for our car, this would be useless.

There are many threads on this.
