I'm disappointed to hear that you found a loss in power. I specifically got a single pipe exhaust to avoid that 
I think I read in HyperRev that the guy who reviewed the J's Racing car commented that the J's exhaust didn't have enough back-pressure(?)
Maybe it is too free-flowing, if that's possible...
