sounds too loud...i've heard sound clips...i need the comptech...not too quiet and not too loud...my S2K is my daily driver and don't wanna have the ladies' ears buzzin on highways or backroad drives....i want a nice rumble when i really rev it...but not a constant drone..Comptech sounds like MY05's destiny....lol

My vote goes for the Mugen. I have it and love it. It is pretty damn expensive but worth every penny IMO. Absolutely no drone, not loud at all, sounds great in VTEC.

Fujitsubo is the biggest exhaust maker in Japan. I would trust their R&D over Comptech anytime. But Comptech made great products too.

I have the Comptech and I installed the J's Dual RS on a friend of mine's car to replace his Comptech. The J's is probably the lightest Dual out there. The sound is great and not too loud although definitely a little louder than the comptech. It sounds great. He is running a T1R test pipe and I am running a Megan test pipe.

If you are looking at Comptech, Fuji, and Supersprint you need to look at the Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust as well. 100% Stainless, great looks, great sound, great quality, and less expensive than all of your other choices.

Maybe you should do a little more research on the Comptech exhaust. Since I just superchargered my S, I have been considering an exhaust change as well. Like you, I am leaning towards either a Comptech or Fujitsubo. Unfortunately after an intensive internet search on Comptech products, I found that many of their exhausts have been plagued with rattling issues. Apparently, Comptech recently changed the design (and muffler manufacturer) to help eliminate this problem on the new ones. Since this is a new change, time will tell if it was the right course of action. Hopefully, it doesn't make the exhaust any worse!

Believe me...I'm not talking trash on Comptech. I have their supercharger kit on my car and love it. I would just hate to see someone pay top dollar for an exhaust that rattles.

+1 for the mugen exhaust. there should be nothing that you can say negative about the exhaust other then you don't like the look of it. it falls in your price range...makes a little power...is designed right...and saves a little weight due to its part titanium.
