Default JDM styling...future rice?

So what you guys think? going through this thread made me wonder. 10 years down the line are we gonna look back and laugh at ourselves?

This comes up in every JDM forum. The whole JDM theory is about function over form, for the most part. Most of the things we do to our cars is for a reason. It's not like the F&F rice/show cars. Where people would add things that did nothing for the car. Just for the 'wild' look. The whole 'JDM' deal is just a race car for the street.

But because the clean lines of the car are not ####ed with with most JDM tuners, I dont think we will look back and laugh like we do at the F&F style cars of our youth.

people get too crazy with jdm. not a lot of taste when people are modding. Its more of quantity over quality of parts. Like who has the most ohshitjdmyo parts on their car.
