Default JDM VS USDM - need to know differences...

Hey folks,

I am looking for serious S2000 knowledge here. I am going to contact Honda as well, but I am looking to find out if anybody knows production differences between USDM and JDM S2000s, specifically, 2005 (USA ver.)

I have been around S2000s for while now and haven't noticed any real differences between the 2 except headlights possibly just aim), compression and Japan spec catalytic converters. The reason I need to make sure is, my S2k is in the middle of the Pacific heading for Yokohama . I am going through the importing process within the next month and a half or so. The test is expensive and I am trying to prepare for and eliminate any possible hang ups I may have that would result in a failed test. I will be taking the car to a shop to have minor things taken care of prior to going through emissions and inspection. For the trip I did return my car back to stock other than the seats.

Any technical advice between the two would be appreciated. I am just trying to make sure there will be no further issues that I haven't thought of.

Thanks
