Default JDM vs USDM

looking at purchasing a long block with tranny. I have been looking online and have found 2 sources. One is for a USDM for 4000 shipped tranny, block, head and all the accesories with 35000 miles or a JDM same thing 3800 plus shipping. The JDM engine claims so have 250hp and the USDM is odviously 240. is that true? will the jdm engine bolt right up to a usdm harness etc?

Im confused.

someone enlighten me!

thanks

Jon

JDM will be tuned for better fuel hence the 250hp USDM is tuned for 91 octane 240hp. At least that is what I have read.

From what I heard the compression is slightly higher. 11:6:1 I think.
