I'm proud to say that I, the Mingster, is the FIRST person in the US (and probably North America) to have a JR performance filter installed in my car. The wait is over, and the days of fooling with K&N and duct tapes have ended.

With Prolene's generous help, we went to the airport where I had the shipment cleared from US customs.

The huge pallet that WON'T fit in the S2000

Tony the forklift driver quickly and nimbly moved the pallet over.

We got the filters back to my place, and see below for more pics.

The box

The filter

Note the nicely contoured inlet, as opposed to many aftermarket (including K&N) filters' abrupt and sharp angled inlet.

Ah, a perfect fit. It's even got the plastic piece that holds it firmly in the air box, just like the stock piece.

A quick go around in my neighborhood showed noticible improvements in throttle response and low end acceleration - of course this is all personal opinion, but it just feels better overall.

$59 plus shipping ($5) anywhere in North America is the price. You never have to buy another filter for the S2000 ever again, this filter is easy to clean, and it'll pay for itself in a few oil changes plus some extra ponies as a bonus

Thanks Mingster. Thanks Prolene. Thanks to all others that helped. And most of all, thanks to Luis who provided the information and pics of his filter from Lisbon.

It is, with blue oil. K&N oil is red but just as good so you can use K&N stuff to clean and oil.
