Two Page ad in Esquire. Does anyone know about the Headlights?
In the Feb. Esquire there is an ad with a silver S2000 streaking across two pages. The funny thing is the inside of the headlights are silver, not black. Does anyone have headlights like this? I am thinking someone added the color in Photoshop because they thought it looked better.
Maybe there is a black headlight tape that when removed shows body color.

AaronS2K,
A While ago there was talk of sending our light housings out to a company (They never answered any of my emails) who would open them, change the corner lenses with clear ones, and paint the inside of the housings any color you wanted... They said they could do body color if you wanted... Maybe the car in this add had that done to it?
Just like the windshield tape, once you do it, you can't go back... So I would have to look at a picture of the special light housings for a while... to see if I like it.
You could always open up the housings and paint them yourself (go get a can of body-paint made up at a body/paint shop, get a PreVal spray kit, and paint)...
Let me know what you decide...

Shaner,
The ad was for Honda so I doubt the car had anything done to it that wasn't factory. I really like the black insides on my Silverstone car and would not think of painting them. I was just wondering if it might be a late addition to the 2001 changes, and if anyone actually had this from the factory.
I would however like the Euro Headlights without paying Euro Headlight prices.

Aaron S2K: All the information on headlight designs (there are three factory), and colors, you could ever want can be found here:http://www.dry-unet.ocn.ne.jp/foe_home/
