After being a member on this forum for over a year, and lurking before that...... reading all of the posts of how great this car was I had to take another test drive of one, when I saw it at a local dealership.

Schumacher Of West Palm Beach - south fl. btw,
Here was the deal - 2002 Silver with the all red interior, 36,000 miles
$20,900. Absolutely beautiful condition inside and out, brand new tires. My friend who is a mechanic checked the car out, and said it was perfect mechanically.
Test drove it, loved it, had to have it. I will be turning 20 in 18 days and since I was 17 I have been putting money away for this car. Insurance only went up $25/ month for me. So I went for it.

I traded in my 98 Prelude for it. I had read several posts about how under Vtec, the s2000 feels like a civic bla, bla bla. But coming from someone who has driven a prelude day in and out, the s2000 feels the same or a little stronger than the prelude under Vtec. However above that, it is unexplainable in words, the sound, the feeling, its just awesome.

I always knew after reading about the car and test driving it about a year ago, that this car was built for me. I am 6' 0" and fit in it perfectly, no complaints about visibility. The handling, I swear i take a turn at 50 and feel like I could have taken it even faster, it just grips and grips. What an amazingly well built car. It's tight no shaking no body roll, interior is purpose built, with only the few luxuries i need/ use.

BTW I bought this 3 days ago, but havent posted been a little busy
will post pics shortly

Congratulations!! Do me a favor though and take it easy for a little while. You're coming from a Prelude - FWD, understeer, and forgiving, and going to an S2000 - RWD, oversteer if you're not careful, and not forgiving if you make a mistake. Sorry if it sounds like I'm putting a damper on your purchase but I don't want your next post to be about wrecking it.
