I thought that you could choose in Japan between the F20C and the F22C. Can you?

Did you get 16" or 17" wheels?

I asked the dealer specifically about the engine size. There is only one size available. Just the 2.0 liter. when i asked him about the 2.2 liter engine, he gave me that "deer in the headlights" look.

Althought it has the smaller engine, it does come with the 17" rims.

Maybe if you are interested, I will put a scan of the Japanese option ordersheet up for all to see.

So the U.S. was the only place that got a 2.2 and everyone else a 2.0?

yeah, i think so.

In Japan, I've heard that there is a taxatation is based upon engine size. If you go over the 2000cc mark, then you fall into a different (higher) taxation bracket.

That would also explain why there are so many small motorcycles (50cc-400cc) on the road out here.

2.2 available in the US and Canada only.

Rest of the world got the 04 cosmetic and suspension changes as per the North American car.

I think everyone also got the updated transmission (gearing) for the MY04s.
