Hi guys i am going to buy a 2004 ap1 facelift uk-spec model and i know that it makes 240hp , but when i had a look on tha ownership paper it was saying 184kw wich is 247hp as it would be for the jdm model but its not. Does anybody have an answer for this? i asume its just a mistake from since it was first registered in my country(i am not from uk), i cant think anithing else that makes sense is it really possible to have the jdm engine?. Can anybody help me with this ? Thank you

 

Sounds like a mistake. Honda was very consistent in rating the non-JDM motors at 240PS = 237hp = 177kW.

 

Just run a test pipe and you'll get it to 180kw then run a (good) exhaust system and you'll get 190kw in all likelihood
