Default Just come back from the dyno 110k

I have just come back from a dyno day. Im going to post pics and a video up soon.

Parameters:

110,209k Miles
10-15kg weight drop
Dynomite Dyno??

I was very intruigued (having never done a dyno) and wanted to know what an S2000 would produce with high milleage hopefully this info will be useful to others. I forgot the bloody print out but the i have rang the guy to give me the info.

My results:

Max torque @ 142.6 lb-ft (wheel)
HP @ 190.8 (wheel)
Hp @ 235.2 (Fly)

A few things, do you agree?

a) The guy said i should really open up the faux vent as it benefit the car

Whats everyone conclusions/view on these figures??, i guess i should be happy.

Cheers

Adam

Seems a little low... But maybe it's because of the miles and the age of the car. The car is losing a lot of power in the trasfer from the crank to the wheel.

Not bad for so much mileage- can you give us more information on the "Emerald" ems?

I dynoed on a dynomite too (stock) and I got 211 @ 8500

why would your FD decrease bhp?

IIRC due to the ring and pinion teeth/cut on the 4.57's its going to be only 2-3bhp at most.

I must agree. 190whp is pretty low with your few mods. From what I believe you should be in the high 190s or low 200s. Also, I think I saw a post on here with another member over 100k on the clock do a dyno and if I remember correctly he was close to 210whp. I think he had I/E only as mods, too.

Get it tuned with an VAFC or Greddy E-ULT, and you'll easily break 200 rwhp.

Yes it available in the UK, you can adjust vtec point, fueling and timing etc, but is very fine tuned.

Its very like a EMS

Just curious on that video with the 4.57 gears vs the stock s2000, did you stop at the end or did the stock car start passing you near top end....?
