Check your policy, but most give you about 15 days of automatic continuation. You should be OK.
My most important recommendation to you is that after you get the damage fixed, you should sign up for a class on how to drive a car like this. Most car clubs offer them. "Driver's skills", "car control", "novice skills", something like that.

I'm 27 and had two cars before this, a 2004 Jetta GLI and civic HX. the GLI had better stoppers IMHO.
Here are some pics. the wheel almost came off being loaded onto the flatbed since the strut was broken and it was hanging off by a control arm.

Hmm i was going to say maybe you're not used to RWD, but I figured you would've oversteered, not under.

I spent months being really really careful before I started opening it up and having fun, at times they can be difficult to control.... but I'm coming from a 2001.
Be careful and post pictures.

As soon as I can with my crazy schedule permitting, I shall join the next available drivers ed/ autocross club event in my area.

).It's impossible to be sure just looking at the pictures, but I think your car will be fine, as long as you have the work done by a good body/frame shop. Since one of the doors didn't open normally after the impact you may need to have the frame pulled, so pick your shop carefully. OTOH, the door problem could just be due to the big dent in the fender. Either way, get a good shop, and you won't have anything to worry about.
FWIW, this kind of thing is pretty common, and we've seen plenty of guys who've owned their S2000 for months or years before having it get away from them. If you're kicking yourself for this, don't. It can happen to anyone.

Have you contacted your insurance company yet?
The sooner the better.
