Damn that sucks to hear.

 

It certainly can't hurt. We use to get out on Lake Huron in the winter when it was frozen and slide our cars around. Ice is nothing like asphault, but it's easy on the tires, and I do believe that the seat time helps.

Instruction, on paved surfaces, is the best option, but you can learn a lot on your own. Just be careful.

Took 3 weeks to get an estimate, and now that I have it they have all the body parts and not the suspension parts. I was in a KIA spectra rental car, but they were nice and upgraded me to a Dodge charger when the check engine light came on
