Default Just Got My S2k! Need Help!

I turned 18 a month ago and i just brought a 2001 Silverstone Metallic s2k for 20grand at 18K exactly...
Hope it was a good deal...

Well i'm feeling kinda uncomfortable in the seats because i'm only like
5'3" "damnz my short asian genes!!" so i was wondering if there was anyway to raise the seats so i can be more comfortable driving.

Thx in advance for any help recieved!

Raise the seats, um without buying aftermarket seats i believe that you are out of luck. you have a very unique problem though, most want to lower

i know a really short s2k owner and the only solution he found was to really put the seat out forward
i know it will look stupid, but at least he is driving much comfortably

The following is my OPINION only and I CANNOT vouche for the safety or the integrity of these suggestions.
First of all, there is no shame in being a bit on the short side. My first wife was 5 foot nothing and she simply used a couple of cushions when she drove. However these days, with airbags, one has to give this due consideration.
One really important consideration is to be able to reach and FULLY operate all the foot controls. This will necesitate moving the seat up closer to the firewall. This has the inherent problem of placing the driver too close to the airbag. Even with new airbags being "softened" up in their rate of deployment, they can still kill you far easier than if you had no airbag in a collision. Now, this leaves you with having to move the seatback rearwards, causing the driver to be even lower.
You have a couple of choices: Get the required cushion(s) to raise your line of sight OR, get the appropriate cylindrical spacers (and longer bolts of the correct strength) and raise the seat up. The widest possible spacer that will fit would be safer than skinny ones.
The option of the seatback adjusted rearward and the cushions has another drawback. You will be more prone to "submarining" in a sudden stop. This will require cinching up your seatbelt very tight all the time and even this may not prevent submarining if the seatback is too reclined (to keep you the proper distance from the airbag).
