Default Just purchased MOdifry's shift beeper

Just wondering where most of you guys install the shift beeper sound beeper. Also, did you leave the factory settings that modifry had or do most change them. I have 4.77 so I think it would be best to keep it at 8800 as the final beep since the rpm's rise pretty quick in the first couple of gears. Also for the valet mode, did you tie your shift beeper to it or the factory alarm..Thanks

I installed mine where the directions show it installed. It is loud enough to here it jut fine. You can adjust the settings after you install it as needed. Just try different settings until it works for your driving habits.

I'd recommend placing the speaker on the driver's side. I had placed mine on the passenger side and now am going to re-locate it as it is difficult to hear with an exhaust.

I'd think that with those gears you would want the beep spacing a bit wider than factory settings and you might even want the last beep a bit earlier than 8800. For me with stock gears, the beeps are timed just right for me to start my shift motions as soon as I hear the 1st beep in order to shift right at redline during the 1st to 2nd gear shift. I'd try to do the same if I had gears.

Here is where I put my speaker (with the supplied velcro)
You need to make a longer speaker wire, and someting to feed that wire through behind the radio.
Its loud enough to hear, top down at speed too.
The beeper itself is where the manual suggests.
I found the "OEM" settings work best for me.
