Default Just test drove a 2004 s2000

silver 2004 s2000 with 29k miles. 19,995 willing to negotiate. carfax states no accident, 1 owner. sitting at nissan dealership for around 1 and a half months.

I test drove the car and another used one earlier on. I test drove a new one as well at a honda dealership.

Defintely you can tell that the used ones are broken in and are a bit more faster in a way, a little more loose ?

but the other thing is the used ones feel like either the wheels need balancing or the wheels are maybe bent? alignment is not to bad but the noise is pretty loud not coming from the engine. I mean the wheels shouldnt be bent cuz theres no vibration but, the car does not defintely drive as smooth as the new one.

Is this the way it is with used s2000s after a while?

No, I'm guessing the tires need some air.

Check to see if the tiers are cupped. If they are noisy at slow speeds but become quiet above around 30 mph, then they could be cupped. This happened to my original SO2s. I attributed this to lots of highway driving. I didn't have the problem on my next set of tires.

If it stays noisy at higher speeds or it gets worse when acclerating, then it's a different problem.

What are you talking about?

A used car might need tires balanced?

What kind of tires are on this used car?

How many miles on these tires?

Did anyone check the condition of the tires?

Did anyone check the air pressure of a car sitting on a used lot for over a month?

Possibly damaged wheels are a sign of "cheapness"?
