I know that the s2000 is a "performance" car and is meant to be driven like that, but what i want to know is that is it possible to "rag" out the s2000 in the first few thousands miles upon buying it? And by this I just mean driving hard on and off, a couple of street races here and there and stuff like that. Just wondering b/c i'm not really into the rallies, or heavy street racing kinda stuff, but i do like driving the car hard sometimes and just wondering if i was "ragging" it out? Thanks for any help guys...

The car is designed to be revved, to be trashed and loves it more as you do it ... I don't think you'll have a problem if you regularly maintain the car with oil changes and the usual works.

 

Where I am from, "ragged out" means beating up on a car and then not doing any kind of maintenance to keep it running properly. If you are willing to learn how to take care of the car and fix the things that you break, there is nothing wrong with driving hard.
