You probably could but would you want to....the comptech filter is already good (from everything I've read)

I have a JR Filter... I hate it.

If you are only doing a filter... try K&N, Spoon, or Comptech.

I'm running the K&N drop in filter. I can't tell of any performance gains, but I am noticing that I can get about 320 miles per tank of gas. And yes I vtec at least 3 times a day.

I've had my K & N drop-in filter for about three months and ~2000 miles.
No perceptable difference in power, but gas mileage has increased by about 2 mpg.
No other power mods.

Hygiene Boy,

Can you elaborate on or show pictures of what you're talking about, assuming you're serious and not blowing smoke? Thanks.

If your getting better gas milage, I wonder if your running leaner...meaning the filter is more free flowing than the stock.

I would think that the K&N is more free flowing than stock, although the stock cone filter is pretty effective.

Does that also mean that everyone using CAI's with K&N or equivalant, are running lean?
