Default KEEP IT OR LET IT GO

I am about to leave the country destination ITALY.
My big concern is shipping the car overseas or sell it before I leave.
I have an 04 with 23k.
I would like to keep the car, so at this point I have to look at the financial part.
Shipping the car plus registering it it's going to cost me 4500 to 5000 dollars. is it worth it to spend that kind of money?
Advise please.

I guess it depends on how much you have in it, but it comes down to whether you'd like to keep the car badly enough to blow 5k. I'm not sure what the market it like in Italy, but maybe you could find something similar and get a better deal?

I wanna keep the car bad enough, yes. Market in Italy for S2k I would say not as good as here.
good thing is I am probably the only one with the 2.2L;
I'd rather keeping this one that I know is good, instead sell it here and start looking for another one there and u don't know what u might find....you know what I mean?
we will see. One thing I know and it stresses me out is that I need to make a decision pretty soon....

If you ship it to Italy, what other expenses might pop up. Insurance, maintenance, repairs, on-site garage availability? Is this just a temporary assignment? What are your storage costs and savings for not having to insure it or reduce coverages? Only you know your personal financial condition.

I do not have any problem financially....
It all comes down to "Is it really worth it"?
Is it safe to ship it in the container?

It sounds like you're turning in circles. Only you can determine if is worth it to you. It's your dime. If money is not an issue, you might enjoy driving the S along Italy's coast, and all around the country. If you have time while you are there, you are close to several other countries to explore. I know that if I could afford to ship my car, I'd love to drive it on every continent possible.

How long you going to be there for? If for only a few years or so, I say store it. And then you'll have that low mile dime all to yourself when you get back.
