key remotes not working

Default key remotes not working

very weird- went to open my trunk with the remote key opener, and nothing...
tried to lock and unlock- nothing
changed the batteries- no difference
tried the other remote- nothing

never had this happen before...
ideas??

May have blown a fuse. Check fuse #26 - right row of fuses under the dash, second from the top.

That fuse controls the trunk lock solenoid and is only one of many fuses that control the keyless remote control module. Have you tapped into that circuit for other power needs?

That has to be one of the fuses for the keyless control unit. Also check fuses 5 and 23.
#5 also controls things like your back up lights, EPS control unit, Gauge assembly and convertible top control unit.
#23 also controls Audio unit light, Cruise main switch light, front parking lights, gauge lites, licence plate light, tail lites.
Check some of those and you can eliminate a fuse.
