I heard that if you click the fob buttons enough that it would go out of sync with the car receiver thingy.

You may just need to reprogram your keyless entry. It's the same method they do during the PDI.

had to try that suggestion cause it was easy to do-
just visited my car, but no luck...
too dark to see the fuses, but i guess that is the next step.

noticed that the lock and unlock buttons light up the red light, but the trunk button doesnt. wondering if that is significant- i dont remember it not lighting before.

If you hold the trunk button down for a second it should light up.

finally!!

just got back from the dealer, where the alarm guy spent about 10 minutes trying different things... he fixed it by unplugging the unit (under the drivers seat) and plugging it back in. he told me that it might have been a loose connection or maybe just needed resetting. anyway, anyone who has this problem should either check the connections under the drivers seat or take your car to your alarm guy at the dealer-
btw, no charge to fix this! (thanks johnny chan at scott robinson honda in torrance!)

yeah, i thought it would be a fuse - checked them all... big p.i.a.- mainly cause that wasnt my problem.

i keep my cap under the drivers seat and am guessing that it must have bumped the wires.
