If you put a blower on this car and drive the shit out of it on a daily basis, you will blow it up. On the other hand, if you drive the shit out if it in stock form it will most likely blow up too.
Many owners here have S/C's on their cars. Few, if any have had one for 4-5 years as this car is only into its 4th model year.
Do a search using supercharger and you'll see how long people have had their cars "blown" and how much HP they have dynoed and what 1/4 miles times exist. If this is all you are interested in with this car, you may be looking at the wrong car.
The "search" feature will be a newcomer's friend.

there are some people who argue that a supercharger puts a lot of stress on the engine components, and causes lots of abusive vibrations. anyone hear about this?

I met an owner (hecash) with a SC who has 80,000 mi on his car and has logged over 4000 track miles on it. (I am not sure how many of those miles are with the SC, obviously not ALL of them.) He flet that the SC assy caused a lot of vibration that could cause some dammange to the engine. When I met him, he had the blower off the car due to an oil leak problem of some sort.

Anyone else have vibration issues with a SC?

I'm at 36k miles and have had a SC on since 3k miles. Its my daily driver and I haven't had any problems with the engine.
