I guess it's too late (I ordered a SC from Comptech today), but I'm wondering what the day-to-day drivability of a SCed 2000 is. I've read about the extra power, bracket and differential issues, but I haven't read much about how the car is to drive if you're not wanting to take on whoever happens to pull up next to you. I'm talking about in traffic daily drives - like to work and back. My car is a weekender at this point, but some day that my change.

I liked the Comptech S2000, BUT with all the suspension mods they've done, the ride is even stiffer than my stock vehicle. I don't plan to do much more to my car. I have less than 1300 miles on it, so even after the SC gets here I'll probably wait a month or two before installation. I'd like to have the 3500 miles break-in and be sure there will be no warranty issues up till that time.

I've had a car with factory supercharger and one with a factory turbocharger and both were fine for day-to-day driving. This is the first after market induction I've owned. Any thoughts from you guys who've made the plunge?

 

I have the Comptech supercharger and springs. The car drives very similarly to stock other than a little more vibration felt through the gearshift and it's a lot faster. It's also my daily driver.
