Kodokan's PRM Project!

Playing around with verb tenses to get around the fact that you sent him parts that were not in the condition that you implied them to be in is pretty devious.
The canister was described as it was sent. No dents. Do you see any dents on the canister? Would you like some 1260x980 jpegs of it? The inside lip of the horn was dented. If Pete was so upset about it, why didn't he PM me asking for his money back so he could of found one of the many other $80 mint condition $275 PRM's for sale in the classifieds? Because he knew it was a good deal despite the lip side of that horn.
Who do you expect knows that you mean "no dents" only describes "the part of the intake visible?" I was referring to the canister, not the horn. I wasn't even going to SHIP the horn for that reason but felt since the minute dent on the inside lip was an asthetic issue resolved as soon as the horn was placed into the canister, Pete could care less. Evidently he did but still, no PM asking for a refund.
Think about this one, Russ. Think long and hard. If you were to sell an AEM with a big DENT in the piping where the filter meets the pipe, this is not "visible," but it is still considered (by most sane individuals) to be a dent.
Please point out to me where I said the intake was in mint condition? The canister indeed, had no dents. Again, if the horn was such an issue to Pete, why didn't he PM me about it to give me a chance to make it right? My net worth could buy me 2,000 PRM's so I need $80 so bad that I would purposely mislead someone? I'll tell ya what. Pete can send me my PRM back, horn and all and I will send him $100. Oops. too late. It's been modified. Let's see if any vendors in here will take back a painted carbon fiber hood that has a bad weave under it. In MY mind, I described the canister accurately but in hindsight, I should have told him, "do you want this horn or not?" I just threw it in at the last second. It was the canister and CAI pipe I was selling.
So many here are quick to complain when members post about a transaction gone bad without any attempt to contact the seller yet it's ok for Pete to completely bypass any resolution on the $2 horn and contact me directly? Has this thought not occured to anyone else besides me?
I figure because in his mind, it was a good deal for $80. The other option would have been to contact me and get a full refund. I could accept getting "slammed" if he asked me for a refund and I refused but he chose not to and subsequently complained about it at the same time posting pics of how well my, er...his intake turned out. Could I have described the intake better? Not sure about the canister because it was in great condition, but I should have just thrown the horn out and told him he'd have to buy a new one. For that, I definitely dropped the ball but I resent the accusations there was intentional misleading going on.
edit: If you were concerned about the condition of the unit Pete, why didn't you PM me? Like I said and you repeated...because you would have bought it anyway. So, send the horn back and I'll recoup you the charges
of a new one. I'll be more than happy to do that.

I don't like your tone Pete. "How would that help our other members?" as if to imply I cannot be trusted to sell used items here?
I would respectfully ask the moderators to close the thread (which I have never done, being such a proponent of free speech) but he's stated his opinion and I mine. I've offered to recoup him for a new horn and that should be enough. Otherwise, send the intake back and I'll refund you $100 but there are plenty of folks in here who have purchased from me with wonderful "feedback."
Enough already.
