Default Koni shocks and its durability.

Hey wassup friends! Well as the topic says.. For those of you that have Koni shocks, have you ever blown them out? I have had my Koni shocks for about a year now and driving through NYC everyday is taking its toll on my vehicle that im scared to blow these out like I did with the OEM units. I have since purchased a toyota corolla for a daily driver and will be using that from now on. Thanks in advance for your responses!

I've blown three koni yellows on my GTI. I have very stiff springs and I drive it hard. with a lifetime warranty though, it shouldn't matter too much.

So if my car is slammed, would they still replace under warranty?

if they bottom out from being too low and bend the piston, you will probably not be covered.

I've only heard good things about them. I have to pick up a set this spring.
