Try contacting the previous owner. I once bought a set of used coilovers and sold it only to find out that one of the shock is blown. The buyer contacted me and I contacted the person I originally bought it from. We worked it all out and got the company to warranty the blown coilover.

no, they wont warranty them. to get them warranteed you need the receipt as well a copy of the current registration for the make and model of the car that the koni part numbers correlate to. Koni warrantees the shocks first to the model of car so that they can be reasonably sure that they were not modified to fit a different application, then they check who the buyer was. i got shafted on this small print before. it sucks, but koni doesnt want to give out rebuilds for free especially when a rebuild almost costs as much as a new shock to begin with.

How old are they? I'm not a huge fan of their life and the seals seem to go pretty fast. Not horrifically crappy like the tokico's, but not great.
