Default Koni's installed seem to be louder?

I just installed a set of Koni shocks last week, and happen to notice that they are a little noisyer over sharp bumps than my stock shocks? Has anyone else encured this???

Are they new? I'd go back and check bolt torque. You did torque them with the suspension compressed, right?

yes they are new and yes I compressed the suspension before I torqued them... maybe not tight enough though?

I didn't notice any sound change when I installed mine. What kind of sound is it?

Is it a rattle or the sound of the fluid moving through the vlaves of the strut. I noticed some are louder then other when compressed and uncompressed rapidly

yeah its not a rattle of any sort, and it is louder at all four corners. The sound is hard to describe... its like I had dynamat, and now I don't. I just hear a little more sound from the stuts when they are compressed over ruff pot holes or sharp changes in the pavement?

You mean the "suctiony" noise, like a bike shock?
