KW V3 vs Tein Flex vs T1R Coilovers
I'm looking into getting a set of coilovers. I've seen that a lot of the cars at the Time Attack are now using KW coilovers, they seem to have features that a lot of the other coilovers don't have (dual adjustability, stainless steel, composite perches, resivores). The main reason why I want to spend the extra money is for the dual adjustability and the stainless steel shock bodies.
But the Tein Flex also seem very popular here as well. The Tein stuff seems to be the most popular but they don't have as many features as the KW's but they are a lot cheaper than the KW's. My biggest beef with these is that they are only one way adjustable. They have a bunch of settings, but it's really only hard or soft. You can't adjust them compression and rebound independently. From some of my Corvette road racing buddies, they say that the dual adjustability is a pretty big leap from street stuff to real track worth suspension.
On the same token, I'm also looking at a set of T1R coilovers but it doesn't seem like a lot of people run them here.
Any thoughts on the subject?

never experienced the kw's....no comment on that
running on tein flex right now...i like it for street...u can adjust the dampening...even though i keep it on full soft most of the times...when i really do need it...i can set it on hard...for pushing with my friends....
i have 3 settings...softest for highway cruising....medium for street daily drive....and super hard for intense crazy driving....and mine didnt rust....i live in vancouver where the rain is all the time...but some peeps have tein flex that rusts like crazy after half a year....t1r is good too...for the track but i think its too loud....maybe it wasnt installed properly but many have said its very loud.
just what i think !

i have the T-1r with swift springs
it is one of the best/better coilevers out there that are not external reservoir setup. it has a large piston/tube which means less movement and less displacement. that means that the suspension has to move less to displace the same amount of fluid.
