You have a rare item there! Put it up in the "for sale" forum and auction it off. Big buck$.

I'm not sure that I've ever seen one?!?! And I've seen hundreds of S2Ks.

Side note: my stealership (Cush Honda - San Diego SUCKS) not only didn't have the bumper plugs which I then ordered and paid for, but they also didn't have the OEM mounting bracket either. Couldn't give me an explanation when I asked what to do with the front plate.

Guess I'll post these again. I know.......blocks air flow.....overheating engine....blah blah blah......nonsense. It's mounted this way on an AP1, but am certain it'll work on an AP2.

Uhm...my car came with a front mounting bracket. It's actually pretty nice - black plastic and the license plate fits right into the black frame.
Pics please

You can probably use a "L" bracket and mount it like rajun asian did so you can mount it without bending the plate.

I just bite the bullet and put my plate on. I figured it was not worth the risk to get pulled for a silly plate violation only to have Capt Asshat and his Magical Laser Toy find something worse in the car...herbal essence.

so ur gonna end up spending way more than 10$ to save the 10$ u spent on plugs?

is it illegal to have the plate on the dash part of the passenger? i would just leave it on, or use the "jdm angle" plate holder...it's cheaper than a ticket. either that or register the car somewhere it doesnt require it.

Illinois has the front plate requirement.

We have a 97 Accord with no front plate go without an cop issue for over 5 years now.

Mine had the OEM front plate holder when I bought it, I took it off and threw it away the day I bought it. No issues yet and it has been almost a year now.

I know others up here that use velcro and remove the plate after driving.

I had an Integra before and I cut the license plate down and wedged it on the grillcraft front grill thinking the car was more of a cop marget.

I talked to to local Porsche dealer about this and they said they only drill the front bumper for the license plate if the customer demands it. Even at that, they try to talk them out of it. I have never seen a ferrari, maserati, etc... up here with a front plate. So it all depends on local enforcement I guess.
